From the moment we found this empty lot, it was clear it would be the perfect location for our dream home. The peaceful energy combined with the stunning city and lush hillside views inspired us to design a vacation home, but one that we could enjoy every day.
We designed an L-shaped house to block out any connection to the street, and orient everything to the large yard, the infinity pool and the stunning views. Each window was placed to capture either nature or the city view, making it feel like you are alone in the hills while in the middle of Los Angeles.
The Mediterranean aesthetic, infused with a touch of Tulum spirit, is echoed throughout every fixture and finish, and further evokes the vacation vibe. White stucco walls, dramatic stone accents, expansive black-paned openings, and the tranquil presence of olive trees and agaves nestled in gravel all come together to prove that simplicity can have stunning results.
